There are two versions of every event!

The ones that lives on IG, and the one that only exists in the nervous system.

The adrenaline, the cortisol. The tiny micro adjustments no one notices. The conversations, the questions, and all the planning. The laughter. The panic when you think you’re running behind. The relief when people start eating. The quiet satisfaction of watching strangers gather around something you made with your hands.

I forgot to take photos!!

Which feels oddly symbolic here.

Because maybe I don’t always need to prove that this happened. Maybe the point is that for a few hours, a table became the place where people honored someone they loved.

And then, just like every good party, it disappeared.

Sometimes I’m making snack boxes.

Sometimes I’m styling grazing tables.

And sometimes I’m casually putting together lunch while a potential multi-million dollar baseball partnership is being discussed five feet away. 😂

It’s such a surreal reminder that you never know where your work will take you.

This is one of my favorite ways to customize an event!

Instead of creating one large grazing table, we created three separate 4-foot flat lays throughout the venue.

The goal is to make things look pretty, but also create a better flow!

Guests could grab a bite wherever they were, mingle without everyone crowding around one table, and each space had its own beautiful focal point. It made the entire cocktail hour feel so much more natural.

I love thinking through these little details because no two events are the same. Sometimes one statement grazing table is exactly what’s needed. Other times, breaking it up into multiple displays creates a completely different guest experience.

That’s one of my favorite parts of this job!! We love taking your venue, your guest count, your timeline, and how you want people to feel, then designing something that fits your event instead of using the same setup every time.

There’s no such thing as a grazing table that serves a fixed number of guests.

The same graze can feed very different guest counts depending on how long your event lasts and whether it’s replacing a meal or simply complementing one.

This 10-foot graze is a perfect example:

🥂 Cocktail Hour (1 hour): Serves 100+ guests as guests enjoy a few bites while they mingle before dinner.

🧀 Substantial Appetizer (2 hours): Serves 80–100 guests with enough variety to keep everyone satisfied throughout the event.

🍽️ Meal Replacement (2 hours): Serves 60–80 guests when the graze is the main attraction and guests are building full plates.

The biggest misconception we hear is:
“How many people does this feed?”

The better question is:
“What role is the food playing at your event?”

Once we know that, we can recommend the perfect graze so your guests leave happy, and your table looks just as abundant from the first guest to the last.
